German Junghans Form A Edition 160 27/4132.00 watch from the Form series combines classic watchmaking with a modern look. Not only its timeless design makes it a great partner for every occasion. This model is made to celebrate the 160th anniversary of the brand in a limited edition of 600 pieces for the whole world.
The Junghans Form A Edition 160 27/4132.00 is equipped with the automatically driven J800.2 movement, which is based on the Swiss variant ETA 2824, or the Sellita SW200. The manufacturer puts it into the watch in an Elaboré finish with increased shock protection (Incabloc), tuned maximum daily deviation to +/- 14 seconds, or the Junghans logo on the rotor. The power reserve is up to 38 hours. The date display is located at the 3 o'clock position. The watch face is protected by a sapphire crystal, which is maximally scratch-resistant. The 39.3 mm case is made of stainless steel with PVD finish.
The water resistance of this watch is 50 meters (5ATM) - so it can withstand minor contact with water, which can be compared to washing hands or taking a shower. The design of this model points to the home of German manufacturer Junghans - the Schwarzwald mountains. This is particularly noticeable thanks to the graphics on the watch face and also thanks to the leather strap, rendered in the texture of a tree.
