Soft, durable, comfortable and hypoallergenic straps that are possibly the best dive straps you'll ever buy!
In the sixties the first manufacturer of rubber straps was created, but they were rather plastic and broke, they were not very skin friendly either. That's when ISOfrane® came along and considered using a rubber compound that is used in the automotive industry to make tires. Tires are always exposed to heat, rain, ice and all kinds of chemicals on a daily basis and don't suffer as much as the rubber belts of that era when the climate changes.
So it was obvious that this was the way to go, and it was then that ISOfrane® was born. Using a rubber compound similar to that found in car tyres to create the most durable waterproof watch strap ever.
But quality material wasn't all ISOfrane® had to offer. The manufacturer of ISOfrane® worked on the design of the straps and made "ventilation windows" in the straps which made wearing extra comfortable as the strap did not stick to the skin. The combination of durability, wearing comfort and softness has created the world's best dive watch strap.
In 2010, Synchron brought the world's most famous rubber dive watch strap back to life and since then, ISOfrane® has become shorthand for quality, durability and wearing comfort.
The strap comes complete with a thorn buckle (your choice) and loops. To order a replacement buckle or loops, look for ISOfrane® replacement parts.
A modern diving strap with the look and feel of the original ISOfrane® straps from the 1960's - the ISOfrane 1968 strap.

The RS all-steel brushed buckle is reminiscent of the original buckle on all isofran straps from the 1960s, made of solid stainless steel, the buckle design has an added safety feature that holds the strap in place even when the strap is released.
