AMS Design Radio Controlled 5014-1

AMS Design Radio Controlled 5014-1 wall clock is not only a great addition to any home, but thanks to its radio-controlled movement, it is also a perfectly accurate time indicator.

The AMS 5014-1 clock has a base made of walnut wood and houses a battery-operated movement, controlled by a signal from the DCF-77 radio transmitter near Frankfurt. The machine is made by the renowned German brand UTS (Uhrentechnik Schwarzwald), which ensures its highest quality.

There is a tapping function and it is available in two tunes. The tune Westminster (4/4) is a tune from London's Big Ben. Every quarter hour the movement plays part of the motif and on the full hour it plays the complete melody, then strikes the current number of hours. The Bim-Bam tune is a deep two-note tapping. The machine strikes once at the half hour and counts down the time with beats throughout the hour. The melody can also be set for the full hour only. For the drumming, you can adjust the volume, set an automatic night mute from 10pm to 6am, or turn it off completely.
