The Garmin Forerunner 745 Music White 010-02445-13 sports watch is the ideal choice for athletes of all abilities. Its features can be used not only in sports, but also in everyday wear.

The case of the Garmin Forerunner 745 Music White 010-02445-13 sports GPS watch is made of hardened polymer. Inside this case works a module with a lot of functions, useful mainly during sports. The size of the case is medium to larger size namely 43.8 mm.

You can customize the Forerunner 745 to your own style and taste with premium interchangeable straps and bracelets. All of them offer great durability and comfort as they are made from the finest materials such as leather, metal, woven nylon or high quality silicone rubber. In addition, they feature a Quick Release fastening system and can be snapped on in seconds without the use of tools. Thanks to the universal attachment, any strap with a width of 22mm can also be used .

The water resistance of this model is 50m (5 ATM) which can be compared to showering, washing hands. The watch also has a comfortable silicone strap. The color Chroma display is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 mineral glass.

• Wrist heart rate measurement: the watch continuously measures your heart rate throughout the day and records the measured data in its memory. By evaluating the data thus measured, you get an average resting heart rate value, which can indicate accumulating fatigue and overtraining. The Stress Score monitors the strain on the body through heart rate variability, as well as the progress of recovery after a demanding sporting event. A simple evaluation of this data is available with the BODY BATTERY indicator, which shows the level of fatigue with a single number that decreases during loading and increases during recovery and sleep.
  
• Daily workout recommendations: is a feature that is able to offer suitable running or cycling workouts according to your fitness level and training history. This is a new feature that has so far only been introduced on the latest generation of Garmin cycling computers. The feature has been met with a great response, it can suggest an interesting workout that complements the type of training and loads you may have missed when planning your workout and that will ensure all-round development.
• Training effect: provides data on the aerobic and anaerobic effect of the workout. The latter reveals how training affects the development of endurance, speed and power. Together with the TRAINING LOAD function, they are a simple and easy-to-understand tool with which even the hobby athlete can understand the principles of correct dosage of training quantity and intensity. The TRAINING LOAD function tracks the training volume over the last 7 days and 4 weeks and compares it to the optimal range according to your personal profile, fitness and performance. The TRAINING STATUS screen then automatically evaluates your recent training history and briefly communicates whether your training is under-, over- or over-training.
• Recovery time: advises how many hours you will need after your workout for your body to recover. In addition to the recovery time value, you will also get a text recommendation on how to continue your training. The recovery time does not strictly prohibit further sporting activity, but usually recommends that the intensity of the training be moderated. Depending on the current state of the body, the recovery time can be continuously adapted and shortened. The VO2 max estimate is an indicator of your current fitness level. The absolute amount of VO2Max is partly an innate ability and partly can be influenced by regular and correctly composed training. A rising estimate of this value is an appreciation of a well done, long term workout.

  In the first few minutes after you start training, you may notice a notification on your watch with a PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT. A value on the display that ranges in the positive or negative range will appear for a short period of time and, based on your body's response to the load, will inform you of your ability to perform that day. Make no mistake, negative values don't say you shouldn't train that day, just that you probably won't beat your personal best today. It is better to beat it on days when you are in the positive range, on those days it will be easier for you to beat your record.

  While you'll appreciate the Performance Rating feature during training or a race, the BODY BATTERY™ feature comes in handy during non-training times. Using continuous, day-long measurements of heart rate variability, the feature can monitor your body's energy levels. The function is closely linked to the stress score function and, when used, can help you better understand your body's functioning and more effectively ration your training and rest. Did you train too intensely, sleep poorly, have excessive stress during the day? The BODY BATTERY value evaluates and adds up all these influences. If you shorten your sleep and recovery time, and vice versa, if you train intensely or put yourself in stressful situations, you will notice that the Body Battery value is not reaching its maximum and decreases day by day. Can you maintain a balance between exertion and rest so that your Body Battery is regularly recharged to 100%?

• Forerunner 745 offers a range of advancedtraining features. Combined with compatible accessories (Running Dynamics Pod, HRM RUN2, HRM TRI or HRM PRO), the Forerunner 745 can measure and record foot contact time, rebound height, running watts, stride length, left/right foot load balance and more. The watch can be connected to ANT+ cycling or Bluetooth wattmeters as well as smart cycling trainers (such as TACX brand). In conjunction with Garmin Vector Dual cycling wattmeters/pedals, the watch will provide cycling dynamics measurements, which include left/right leg power balance, recognition and separate evaluation of seated and standing riding, determination of FTP performance parameter or measurement of pedaling power phases for left and right leg.

  Although the watch does not have detailed maps and automatic route calculation, it is possible to upload navigation routes created in Garmin Connect, on mapy.cz or in GPX format downloaded from the Internet (e.g. race routes). If the route contains elevation data, you can use the CLIMB PRO function on the watch, which provides detailed information about the elevation profile of the route and the individual climbs that await you on the route.

  ThePULSE OXYMETER SENSOR is a special optical sensor that can monitor your blood oxygen saturation level from your wrist, offering a better view of how you are sleeping or acclimatizing to changes in temperature or altitude. The pulse oximeter sensor is quite power-hungry and can significantly reduce the battery life values of the watch. Therefore, only switch on the oximeter when you can use its data, such as when you are asleep or when there is a sudden change in ambient temperature or altitude. The oximeter is also a practical tool when hiking in the high mountains as a prevention against mountain sickness.

• Garmin Coach: is a virtual running coach available on the watch and in the Garmin Connect mobile app. If you are starting out running, training for a running race or just want to get your regular running routine in order, then GARMIN COACH is a feature worth checking out. After selecting from several coaches, entering your goal and available time, the feature will suggest a training plan to guide you through your workout on the watch display. If you don't have time on a certain day or on the contrary you feel like completing your workout earlier, no problem, you can adjust your workout at any time and the training plan will automatically adapt to you. The training plan is always designed for the next week and continuously adjusted individually according to your results.
• Forerunner 745 uses "GPS" to measure position, pace, speed, distance and other important movement variables. In fact, the watch is capable of using not only the US GPS satellite system, but also other satellite systems such as Russia's GLONASS or Europe's Galileo. A new type of chip and position data processing allows the watch to achieve greater accuracy in position, pace and route recording, even in challenging environments without a clear view of the sky. The Forerunner 745 is one of the most accurate GPS sports testers on the market today.
• Safety Features - When connected to a smart phone, the watch can use safety features that send information to a preset phone number in case of an emergency. The request for help can be triggered manually or automatically. The Incident detection function automatically detects an accident and automatically sends a request for help in the event of an emergency. The second option is the Assistence function, which can be used in an emergency and can be called up manually with a key combination. The safety functions use a connected mobile phone and send the current position/location of the watch with the request for assistance.

• Smart features: you can receive emails, text messages and alerts on the watch when paired with a compatible Apple or Android smartphone. When you connect your phone, incoming calls, texts and other notifications will appear on the watch display. From the watch display, you can control the music player on your phone, including setting the volume or skipping tracks. You can also monitor weather forecast information on the watch display, and you can set up phone numbers to send an emergency message if the watch automatically assesses that an accident has occurred. When incoming calls are displayed, not only the caller's number appears on the watch display, but also the name taken from the phone book.

  Smart features also include GARMIN PAY™ contactless payments. This service allows you to enter your regular payment card information into the watch's memory and replace the payment card with the watch when paying at a contactless terminal. The GARMIN PAY service is supported by the majority of banks on the market in the Czech Republic, including Moneta, Komerční banka, Česká spořitelna, mBank, Raiffeisen Bank, Creditas, Fio banka, ČSOB or, for example, Poštovní spořitelna.

  Forerunner 745 offers a built-in MUSIC PLAYER. The player allows you to either download playlists from selected music streaming services (e.g. Deezer, Amazon Music or Spotify®), upload songs from your computer to the internal memory using a USB cable or can control music playback on a connected mobile phone. The music player built right into the watch doesn't depend on the presence of a phone, and all you need to do to listen to music is connect compatible Bluetooth headphones. The memory of the Forerunner 745 Music can hold up to 500 songs.

• Third-party apps. The project was created a few years ago, allowing computer whizzes and programmers to create their own apps. The current range of downloadable content is really wide and can add features to the watch that are not mentioned in the product description. Examples include a jump rope measurement or a beer counter with an approximate calculation of blood alcohol and sobriety time. The vast majority of the content is completely free, but you may also encounter a paid app or appearance.
• Training Log: Garmin Connect is a training log that Garmin provides to its users for free. Garmin Connect is available as a mobile app or as a web server. You can choose which form of training diary you use and it is possible to use both versions simultaneously. The mobile app is more practical, always at your fingertips, the web version shows the data on a larger screen and in some cases offers enhanced features compared to the mobile app. The Garmin Connect training diary environment is available fully in Czech.
• Battery life: Battery life is one of the important features of Garmin smartwatches.On 1 charge you have up to 1 week of use in smartwatch mode, up to 16 hours in GPS mode or up to 6 hours in GPS mode with music listening. The power-saving UltraTrac™ GPS recording mode is available for long, slower activities such as hiking. In UltraTrac™ mode, the watch offers up to 21 hours of battery life on 1 charge. Battery life information can be displayed on the watch display in both percentage and time. The time display responds smoothly to changes in settings and is able to give you practical advice on whether to consider recharging the battery if you want to tackle a certain, pre-known activity with the watch.
