The Smart GPS Watch Garmin epix™ PRO Sapphire Style, Titan Black/ Brown Leather Band - 010-02582-30 case is made of hardened polymer and steel. Inside this case works a module with a multitude of functions, useful mainly for sports and outdoor activities. The display diameter is 1.3". The watch has maps pre-installed in memory with automatic navigation, is equipped with WiFi connectivity and offers music playback from its own memory (32GB), to which you can upload your own music files as well as playlists from streaming music services such as Spotify or Deezer.

The water resistance of this model is 100m (10 ATM) and can therefore handle even heavy water contact such as swimming. The comfortable leather strap features a QuickFit® attachment system that allows for quick, tool-free replacement. The color AMOLED display is protected by a sapphire crystal.

AMOLED displays are more power-hungry than transflective displays, but have higher resolution. The display image is smoother and at the same time significantly brighter, an AMOLED display has significant brightness compared to a transflective display, but not as good readability in direct sunlight. Because of the higher power consumption, AMOLED displays are usually off and on when you want to look at the display or when a mobile phone message appears on the display (However, you can also set the Garmin EPIX watch to be on continuously). Turning the display off is used to achieve longer battery life.
