Edox SkyDiver 38 Date Automatic 80131-3BUC-BUICO watches win their owners especially with a beautiful sporty look and precise workmanship. The design of the watch refers to the classic parachute models from the 60s and 70s and combines the best of two worlds - the style and aesthetics of a precision pilot's watch and the flawless functionality of a diving watch.
Part of the Skydiver model series, the EDOX 80131-3BUC-BUICO features a date display at the classic 3 o'clock position and a unidirectional rotating steel lunette with ceramic insert.
The detailed dark blue dial is protected by a convex sapphire crystal that is resistant to any scratches. The stainless steel case of the watch has a diameter of 38 mm, which meets the parameters for both ladies and fans of smaller cases. The watch stays on the hand thanks to the strap made of very well crafted leather.
The dial reflects the precise instruments that once accompanied adventurers conquering the land, sea or air. You also get a choice of two leather straps (blue and pink), easily interchangeable via an ingeniously designed but simple system of spring-loaded stirrups, so anyone can manage the change. The hands and indices are coated with Superluminova luminescent compound, which guarantees longer luminosity.
The EDOX 80131-3BUC-BUICO is powered by a Swiss mechanical movement with an automatic winding Edox Caliber 80 built on the Sellita SW200. Fitted with 26 jewels, it operates at a frequency of 28,800 semi-beats per hour and the winding power reserve is a classic 38 hours. The machine also has a hacking function and the possibility of manual winding.
The EDOX 80131-3BUC-BUICO model is characterized by a typical diving watch design, so of course there is excellent legibility, luminescence and a unidirectional rotating diving lunette in blue. The 300m water resistance is backed by a screw-down crown and guarantees durability in any contact with water, including deep diving.
The EDOX 80131-3BUC-BUICO is capable of handling any situation on land, in the air and at sea and has great legibility even in the most extreme conditions.
On the back cover of the watch you will find the Swiss paratroopers symbol engraved as a reference to the original SkyDiver model.
