In the world of fine cigars, the word "Prominente" brings a smile of recognition. This term is used to describe one of the greatest Cuban cigars available. It is therefore the perfect name to describe the Prominente Clásico watches from Cuervo y Sobrinos because, like Havana cigars, the watches in this range have a rich character and exude a touch of luxury.
Like a fine Havana cigar, theCuervo y Sobrinos Prominente Clásico has a rich character and exudes a remarkable luxury. Its distinctive look sets it apart from many other watches, and its period style brings lasting appeal.
The Prominente Clásico is inspired by the historic Cuervo y Sobrinos watches of the 1950s. The profile of the steel case captures the glamour of a bygone era. Its design incorporates gently arching lines that play with light, imbuing the case with pockets of shine and shadow.
At the heart of the watch is a Swiss mechanical movement, the CYS 5103 (based on the Soprod M100), with an automatic winding movement that is set with 25 jewels and boasts a power reserve of around 42 hours. We can enjoy the movement's operation thanks to the transparent dial. The vintage-style hands are rhodium-plated and lined with a Super-LumiNova coating that enhances legibility in low light. Depending on the model chosen, the clock is represented by Roman numerals or indices. A handy date indicator is located at the 6 position. Everything is protected by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment.
With a case diameter of 32mm x 43mm, the Cuervo y Sobrinos Prominente Clásico 1015.1RAB fits most men's wrists. It is complemented by a colour-matching alligator leather strap. Water resistance is set at 3 ATM, so the watch can handle moderate contact with water, for example when washing hands.
