Cuervo y Sobrinos, official timekeeper of the Iberian Historic Endurance, presents the limited edition Historiador Historic Endurance chronograph. This watch features a bicompax dial in British Racing Green with contrasting silver counters that recall the colours of motorsport.
The Iberian Historic Endurance is a series of races held at iconic European race tracks, characterised by a friendly and relaxed atmosphere where competitors, often driving historic cars, strive for podium victories. Cuervo y Sobrinos awards an exclusive personalised watch to the winner of each event's performance index, which assesses performance based on factors such as age, cylinder capacity and car type.
The Historiador Historic Endurance watch pays tribute to the history of motorsport with its green and silver dial, inspired by the Gordon Bennett Cup of 1900, when car colours were determined by nationality. The watch design includes petal-shaped hour and minute hands, a black 30-minute counting hand and a tachymetric scale on a black background. The inscription "Taquimetro" on the dial pays tribute to the origin of the race.
Inside the 40mm stainless steel case is the automatic calibre CYS 8129 (based on the ETA 2894), which is visible through the sapphire crystal caseback with the Historic Endurance competition logo and the number 76 indicating the limited number of pieces produced. The watch comes with a black perforated driver's style strap with green stitching, its design reminiscent of classic racing gloves.
