The Buceador Caribe is a diver's watch inspired by the azure seas, pastel sands and aquatic world of Cuba. It has a very complex case with a container construction, which contributes to the model's impressive 200m water resistance. Brimming with Caribbean charm, this modern watch is both practical and stylish.
The case of the Cuervo y Sobrinos Buceador Caribe 2860.3NY is made of stainless steel with a black PVD finish. Inside is a Swiss mechanical movement with automatic winding CYS 5104 (based on the Peseux 224). It operates at a frequency of 28800 A/h, is fitted with 28 jewels and has a power reserve of 38 hours.
An ingenious push-button system located at the 4 o'clock position unlocks the crown at 2 o'clock. This crown is used to set the internal rotating lunette and allows the user to monitor the dive time. The classic time setting crown is then unconventionally positioned on the left. The turquoise blue dial is complemented by distinctive numerals which, like the hands, are coated with a Superluminova luminescent coating. A handy date display is located at the 6 position. All protected by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment.
With a case diameter of 43 mm, the Cuervo y Sobrinos Buceador Caribe 2860.3NY fits most men's wrists. The 20 ATM water resistance makes this model a great companion for swimming and similar water activities.
