The Citizen Series 8 831 Automatic NB6060-58L is the ideal choice for everyday wear, but it certainly won't disappoint in company either. The watch impresses not only with its unusual appearance, but especially with features such as the in-house mechanical movement Citizen 9051 with automatic winding. This version comes in a distinctly sportier vein.
The Citizen Series 8 831 Automatic NB6060-58L has a case and bracelet made of stainless steel. Inside the case is the Citizen 9051 mechanical in-housemovement with automatic winding, which was first used by Citizen in 2021. This movement operates at a modern frequency of 28,800 semi-frequencies per hour (4Hz) and has 24 stone fits. It also features a "Hacking" function, i.e. stopping the second hand when the watch is regulated, and the option of manual winding with the crown. Thanks to the increased resistance of the movement to magnetic fields, this model has a resistance to magnetic fields of a very respectable 16,000 A/m ( the resistance of a conventional watch is around 4,800 A/m) The movement also has a Parashock system (a Citizen invention), which increases the resistance of the movement to shocks and shocks. This movement can be observed through a transparent dial. A practical feature is the date display, which is located at the traditional 3 o'clock position. There is an inner bi-directional lunette around the perimeter of the dial, which is used to measure time periods and is operated by the crown at the second hour position.
The clearly structured dial of this model is protected by a sapphire crystal, which is maximally scratch-resistant. The water resistance of the watch is 200 m and it can therefore handle contact with water, including swimming and diving. Better legibility in low light conditions is ensured by the luminescence applied to the indices and hands.
