The Citizen Promaster Marine Super Titanium Automatic NB6004-83E is the ideal choice for both active athletes and everyday wear. The watch impresses not only with its pure "diver" look and robustness, but also with features such as the mechanical movement with automatic winding. The Super Titanium™, a special titanium material developed by Citizen, also provides excellent case and tension properties. It serves excellently not only during dives, but also during everyday wear.
The Citizen NB6004-83E watch has a case and bracelet made of Super Titanium™, which guarantees light weight, high strength and complete anti-allergy. Thanks to a special hardening method, the surface of this titanium is more scratch resistant than stainless steel. In this case, the scratch resistance is further enhanced by the Duratect MRK surface treatment technology. Inside the case is a newly developed mechanicalin-house Citizen 9051 machine with automatic winding, which was first used by Citizen in 2021. This movement operates at a modern frequency of 28800half beats per hour (4Hz) and has 24 stone fits. It also features a "Hacking" function, which is the stopping of the second hand when the watch is regulated, and the option of manual winding of the crown. Thanks to the increased resistance of the movement to magnetic field, this model has a resistance to magnetic field of a very respectable 16000 A/m (the resistance of a normal watch is around 4800 A/m) The movement also has a Parashock system (a Citizen invention), which increases the resistance of the movement to shocks and shocks. A handy feature is the date indicator, which is located at the traditional 3 o'clock position. The clear dial of this model is protected by a sapphire crystal that is maximally scratch-resistant.
The water resistance of the watch is 200 m and is therefore suitable for use in water, including swimming or diving. Water resistance is supported by the screw-down crown and compliance with the ISO 6425 diving standard. Improved legibility in low light conditions is provided by luminescence applied to the indices and hands.
The watch meets the ISO 6425 diving standard, allowing it to wear the Diver's designation on the dial. Such a watch must have a water resistance of at least 100 metres, and the watch must be pressure tested to 125% of the declared water resistance value (i.e. a watch tight to 200 m according to ISO 2281 is only tested to 200 m, a diver's watch according to ISO 6425 must be tested to 250 m), and must also meet other conditions. For example, they are tested for decompression, corrosion resistance, resistance to magnetic fields (in this case the mandatory value of 4800 A/m is exceeded to 16000 A/m) or impact. It must also have a unidirectional rotating lunette, luminescence, etc.
