The Citizen Eco-Drive Radio Controlled Tsukiyomi Moonphase Super Titanium BY1018-80X men's watch is perfect for lovers of precise time, with multi-frequency radio time control. This model is powered by solar energy (Eco-Drive) and the use of Super Titanium™ makes it extremely comfortable to wear. The versatile design makes this model especially suitable for everyday wear.
The case including the bracelet of the Citizen BY1018-80X is made of Super Titanium™, which ensures light weight and complete anti-allergy. Inside this case works the Citizen H874 movement, which offers absolutely accurate time thanks to the Radio-Controlled system, i.e. synchronization of time using a radio signal. Other functions can be relied on, such as battery indication, prevention of overcharging, warning in case of insufficient charge by two-second jumps of the second hand, or switching to power-saving mode. You can also use the moon phase indicator function at the six o'clock position, which is corrected automatically. It is also possible to switch the moon phase indicator depending on whether you are in the southern or northern hemisphere. There is also a 24-hour sub-dial at the 9 o'clock position. Very handy is the date and day of the week display.
This model is powered by Eco-Drive technology, a light-charged battery with a power reserve of up to 6 months (30 months, or 2.5 years in power saving mode). This eliminates the need to replace the battery.The water resistance ofthis watch is 100 m, so it can easily cope with contact with water, such as swimming or minor immersion. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal, which provides maximum protection against scratches.
