The Citizen Attesa Spaceship Satellite Wave GPS CC4104-53Emen's watch is the ideal companion for lovers of accurate time and individuals who are often on the go, thanks to its features.
The case of the watch, including the integrated bracelet, is made of Super Titanium™, which achieves low weight and ensures complete anti-allergy. Inside the case works the in-house Citizen F950 movement, which offers GPS satellite time control, where the time is changed automatically according to position based on the received signals (when triggered by the reception of a GPS signal including the location). This movement has the fastest GPS signal reception in the world - the signal can be received in just 3 seconds! There is the possibility of time indication in 39 time zones and 27 time zone setting steps (sometimes these steps are referred to as world cities). It also features the Eco-Drive, which eliminates the need for regular battery changes. The watch battery is recharged by light, and this particular model offers a running reserve of up to 1.5 years on a full charge (5 years in power saving mode). Other functions of the watch are associated with this system, such as overcharging protection, indication of the charge level, or indication of the intensity of the incident light - the intensity of charging is distinguished in 7 levels.
The sub-dial at position 3 is an indicator of the selected mode - stopwatch, alarm, manual time and calendar setting, light level indication, UTC. The sub-dial at position 6 is a dual time indicator and 9 then shows the day of the week, charge status, daylight saving time function. At the same time, these two sub-dials are counters when the chronograph mode is selected - the stopwatch can be controlled by the side buttons - the upper button starts and stops the stopwatch, the lower one resets the measured values. The stopwatch is capable of measuring up to 24 hours to an accuracy of 1/20th of a second.
The octagonal "Spaceship" lunette is made of ceramic, providing excellent scratch resistance. This is the first Attesa model with a ceramic lunette combined with solar power and GPS control.
The unique dial, inspired by the look of untreated titanium, is protected by a sapphire crystal that is maximally scratch resistant. The glass is coated with an anti-reflective layer, ensuring great legibility even in direct sunlight. In addition to the above-mentioned functions, the watch has a date and day of the week display, alarm, stopwatch (i.e. chronograph function), or dual time.
With a water resistance of 100 m, the watch will allow its owners to use it when in contact with water, such as swimming. Better legibility in lower light conditions is ensured by the luminescence applied to the indices and hands.
Attesa is a word from Italian, translatable as "expectation". Citizen produced the first watch with this name in 1987 and its main feature was titanium. This is still the case today, although other great Citizen technologies have been added, such as the solar-powered Eco-Drive, or radio or GPS control.
