The Certina DS Podium Chronograph Automatic C034.427.11.057.00 is a new watch for 2020. It impresses above all with its precise workmanship and sporty design.
The Certina C034.427.11.057.00, which belongs tothe DS Podium model series, features aSwiss automatic movement, date display, stopwatch and tachymeter. Thedetailed dial is protected by a scratch-resistant anti-reflective sapphire crystal and the anti-reflective layer makes the dial legible even in bright sunlight. The watch is made with a combination of a steel case and a steel bracelet. The water resistance of the watch is 100m, making it suitable for swimming and light diving.
The model has a Swiss ETA C01.211movement , which was built on the basis of the Lemania 5100 movement. The power reserve is up to46 hours, the movement has 15 stone settings and a frequency of 3Hz (21,600 semi oscillations per hour). The flywheel of this movement is made of Nivachron alloy , which is more resistant to magnetic fields and temperature changes and results in better watch accuracy.
Like all Certina watches, it is equipped with the unique DS technology (Double Security System), which increases the durability, shock resistance and water resistance reliability of the watch (1. reinforced sapphire crystal, 2. seal on the crown shaft, 3. double seal on the crown, 4. special back cap seal, 5. reinforced back cap).
