The Certina DS Podium Big Size Chronograph C001.647.16.057.01 is a new watch for 2018 presented at Baseworld. This model wins its owners especially with its sporty look and precise workmanship.
The Certina C001.647.16.057.01 , which belongs to the DS Podium Chrono series, features a date display, tachymeter and stopwatch. The detailed dial is protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, which is resistant to any scratches and thanks to the anti-reflective layer, the dial is legible even in bright sunlight. The case of the watch is made of polished, 316L stainless steel. With a case size of 44mm, it is a medium-sized watch. The watch strap is made of high quality leather. The water resistance of this model is200M - suitable for swimming, but also for diving.
The Swiss ETA 251.264 Precidrive movement guarantees running accuracy with a maximum deviation of +-10 seconds per year and an incredible +-0.07 seconds per day! This machine is also equipped with an EOL battery indicator.
Like all Certina watches, it is equipped with the unique DS technology (Double Security system), which increases the durability, shock resistance and water resistance reliability of the watch (1. reinforced sapphire crystal, 2. seal on the crown shaft, 3. double seal on the crown, 4. special back cap seal, 5. reinforced back cap).
