Men's, automatic Certina DS Action Diver Powermatic 80C032.407.11.051.02 are new for 2018, introduced at Baseworld. This model wins its owners especially with its beautiful, sporty look and precise workmanship.
Certina Certina C032.407.11.051.02 belonging to the DS Action Automatic model series, they feature a data indicator, screw-down crown and a screw-down dial. The detailed dial is protected by asapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on both sides that is scratch resistant. The watch case, including the tension, is made of brushed, stainless steel 316L. With a diving lunette made of anodized aluminium, this watch further emphasizes its diving style. The water resistance of the watch is 300 m, making it suitable for deep-sea diving. The hands, indices and dots on the dial are equipped with a Super-LumiNova® luminescent coating, so you don't have to worry about the dial not being easy to read in poor visibility conditions.
The watch meets the more stringent ISO 6425 standard, it is referred to as diver's. These watches must have a water resistance of at least 100 meters, and the watch must be pressure tested to 125% of the declared depth (i.e. a watch tight to 200 meters under ISO 2281 is only tested to 200 meters, a diver's watch under ISO 6425 must be pressure tested to 250 meters), and other properties are monitored. For example, decompression, corrosion resistance, resistance to magnetic influence, impact resistance are tested. It must also include a rotatable lunette that can be moved in one direction, have luminescence applied, and more.
The ETA Powermatic 80.111 Swiss movement has 23 stone fits and a maximum running time of up to 80 hours. Ffrequency of the machine is 3 Hz (21600 semi-frequencies per hour).
Like all Certina watches, it is equipped with the unique DS technology (Double Security System), which increases the durability, shock resistance and water resistance reliability of the watch (1. reinforced sapphire crystal, 2. seal on the crown shaft, 3. double seal on the crown, 4. special back cap seal, 5. reinforced back cap).
