G-Shock presents another interesting special edition, the MTG-B2000YST-1AER Storm Chaser, with the central theme of an incoming storm and dazzling lightning. The design of the MTG-B2000YST-1AER draws inspiration from storm chasers - intrepid researchers of this meteorological phenomenon who head straight for extreme weather such as tornadoes and supercell thunderstorms.
The watch's colourful form was achieved using new techniques. The case of the watch is multi-layered, made by laminating carbon fibre combined with coloured glass fibres. The case resembles a dark sky with approaching storm clouds and the piercing light of lightning. The steel lunettewith coloured IP surface treatment is decorated with two distinct colours with spectacular gradients to symbolise the fickleness of rapidly changing weather conditions.
All this is complemented by thecoloured dial and hands. Eachpiece is an original in its colouring. The watches are hand-assembled in a premium manufacturing facility in Yamagata, Japan.
