Casio G-Shock GM-5600U-1ER is an improved version of the popular Casio G-Shock GM-5600 steel-cased models. It offers a combination of practical features along with years of proven design and craftsmanship. They build on the legacy of the DW-5000C, which holds a special place in the brand's history. This durable watch with a square case marked the beginning of the brand's rapid rise to global popularity.
Improvements include a new module, the use of LED backlighting instead of the existing EL backlighting, which is more technologically advanced, energy-efficient and easier on the eyes. The extension of the battery life from 2 to 5 years is also worthy of praise.
Casio G-Shock GM 5600U-1 have a digital display that shows the date, day of the week, stopwatch, alarm and many other functions. Among the more interesting ones, let's mention the fully automatic calendar and the alert function by lighting up the display when the alarm is activated, the countdown is completed, the hourly signal, etc. You can also use the LED display illumination for easy readability in low light conditions. The durable steel case of the watch is complemented by a rubber strap. The display is protected by a mineral glass.
The case diameter of 42.8 mm makes the watch one of the larger ones. The water resistance of this model is 200 m, so you can swim and enjoy other water activities without any problems.
