Casio G-Shock GCW-B5000UN-6DR Carbon 40th Anniversary Limited Edition is a limited edition released to celebrate 40 years since the introduction of the first durable Casio G-Shock DW 5000 in 1983. For nearly 40 years, the G-Shock range has offered a durable watch with a wealth of features in a purposeful and timeless design, now in a carbon version.

The Casio G-Shock GCW-B5000UN-6DR is a model from the Master of G stable, the craftsmanship that makes the watch stand up to the toughest conditions is a given. The overall durability is now even more enhanced thanks to the innovative solutions and materials used in the manufacture of the watch. Thebezel and bracelet are made of pressed carbon, which can be moulded into complex shapes. Thefolding clasp is made of multi-layered carbon, which boasts a high degree of longitudinal bending strength. The monocoque sleeve is made of carbon fiber reinforced resin. Special attention has been paid to the individual parts during manufacture and for this reason each is made using a different technique. Thanks to the right choice of materials, the watch is not only very light, but also durable and comfortable. Other advantages of the watch are also solar-powered and radio time control.

The colour scheme of the watch combines black carbon fibre with blue and pink resin and opal flecks, giving it its unique mysterious look. The surface is decorated with the texture of the pressed carbon used for the lunette and bracelet, evoking at the same time the mysterious band of hazy light of the Milky Way. Moreover, the resulting pattern is unique every time, making each piece an original. As with the masterpiece released 40 years ago, the GCW B5000UN-6 is decorated with a brick wall pattern around the digital display. The watch face is decorated with the 40th Anniversary logo designed by Eric Haz.

The Casio G-Shock GCW-B5000UN-6DR has a digital display that shows the date, day of the week, stopwatch, alarm and other functions.
