Casio G-Shock GA-2140RE-1AER 40th Anniversary Remaster Black is a limited edition, expanding G-Shock line, launched to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the introduction of the first durable Casio G-Shock DW 5000C in 1983. For nearly 40 years, the G-Shock range has offered a durable watch with a wealth of features in a purposeful and timeless design.

After the great success of the limited editions, Casio brings its fans a series of four iconic G-Shock models that are a legacy of the evolution of the G-Shock line. Their straps mark the beginning of the production of all the major models from 1983 to 2023. The watches' pins are adorned with the 40th Anniversary logo, designed by Eric Haz. When the backlight is activated, the logo is also a pleasant surprise on the display of the DWE-5657 and DW-6640 models. The stars, as a symbol of the celebration, appear on the pushers of the DWE-5657, DW-6640 and GA-2140 models and on the watch face at 8 o'clock on the GA-114 model. The 4 star symbols are also present on the strap lugs and are another reference for this important anniversary.

Casio G-Shock GA 2140RE-1A is the anniversary model of the G-Shock 40th Anniversary Limited Edition series. This series is characterized by the use of the original black color and also features a special marked strap buckle and a marked ding for clear identification of the anniversary. The Casio G-Shock GA-2140RE-1AER comes, as we have come to expect from the series, with workmanship that will stand up to exposure to harsh conditions. The high durability of the case is ensured by the Carbon Core Guard construction. This is made of resin, reinforced and strengthened with carbon fiber, and the construction of the buttons is also special, protecting the model from the penetration of dirt. The aforementioned combination allows to create a more compact and lighter unit.
The watch has a combined dial, displaying the date, day of the week, stopwatch, alarm and other functions that you can use during sports and leisure. The carbon fiber reinforced plastic case of the watch is complemented by a rubber strap that excels in durability and longevity. The materials used have helped to reduce the weight of the watch to just 57 grams. The dial is protected by a mineral glass. For easy readability in low-light conditions, the watch is equipped with luminescent hands and dual LED illumination, which illuminates both the analogue and digital parts of the dial at the touch of a button. A sub-dial showing the current day is located at the 9 o'clock position, while the digital display shows not only the selected mode but also related data. The case diameter of 45.4 mm makes it one of the larger watches. The water resistance of this model is 200 m, so you can swim with the watch without any problems.

Casio G-Shock model series offers a suitable watch for anyone looking for a combination of a durable, sporty watch in an attractive design, combined with a rich range of functions. All models in this globally popular range are more resistant to shocks and impacts than conventional watches. They also demonstrate increased resistance to magnetic fields.
