Casio G-Shock DWE-5640RX-7ER 40th Anniversary Clear Remix is a limited edition, expanding the G-Shock range, launched to mark the 40th anniversary of the introduction of the first durable Casio G-Shock DW 5000 in 1983. For nearly 40 years, the G-Shock range has offered a durable watch with a wealth of features in a purposeful and timeless design.

Following the great success of previous limited editions, Casio brings its fans another series of iconic G-Shock models that impress with their craftsmanship. With their transparent elements, they let you peek inside. The brand has thought not only about men, so women's models will also be available in this design. The 40th Anniversary logo, designed by Eric Haz, adorns the face of each watch. The 4-star symbols are also present on the strap lugs and are another reference for the important anniversary. The dials also bear the inscription "Since 1983", referring to the creation of this durable line. Casio G-Shock DWE 5640RX-7 is the anniversary model of the G-Shock 40th Anniversary Limited Edition series. This series is characterized by the use of the original black color and also features a special marked strap buckle and a marked ding for clear identification of the anniversary. Casio G-Shock DWE-5640RX-7ER have a digital display that shows the date, day of the week, stopwatch, alarm and other functions. The durable watch case is complemented by an unconventionally designed strap, consisting of two materials. The contrasting combination of plastic and metal is symbolic of the evolution of materials used in G-SHOCK models. The strap attached at 12 o'clock is made of resin and urethane. A composite part with transparent links made of fine resin is paired with the urethane part, which is attached to the case by a sliding lever. On the other hand, at 6 o'clock we find a steel bracelet. Its links are rendered in a contrasting silver and gold IP finish, and the clasp is engraved to commemorate G-SHOCK's 40th anniversary.
Another surprise is the transparent LCD display that reveals the circuit board base. The golden part of the board is engraved with four stars commemorating G-Shock's 40 years on the scene. The display is protected by mineral glass. For easy readability in low-light conditions, the watch is equipped with a backlight display. The light will alert you to the completion of the countdown, the hour signal, the alarm time set, etc. The diameter of the watch case is 43.8 mm. The water resistance of this model is 200 m, so you can swim with the watch without any problems. The model will also please with a longer battery life, reaching up to 3 years.
