The Casio Edifice Sospensione ECB-2300HR-1AER Honda Racing Special Edition was created as a special edition to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the historic victory of the Honda RA272 in the 1965 Mexican Grand Prix. This model is the result of a close collaboration between Casio and Honda designers and pays tribute to the moment when Honda first won Formula 1.

The inspiration of the legendary Honda RA272 is evident in every detail of the limited edition car. The lunette is finished in Championship White, the iconic shade of the racing monopod. The 60th minute position on the lunette is rendered in gold to commemorate the anniversary of this triumph, while the red ring flanking the dial symbolises the Japanese flag motif from the body of the winning car. Each element carries a story, the strap's eyelet being a quote by team boss Yoshio Nakamura, "Veni, Vidi, Vici". The strap is adorned with the technical specifications of the RA272 engine and a giant of the original drawings. The plate is decorated with the official logo commemorating this important chapter of motorsport.

The model is based on the philosophy of the Sospensione series, whose shape of the case legs recalls the suspension of race car wheels. The case combines carbon-reinforced resin with stainless steel to achieve light weight, strength and durability - characteristics typical of racing machines. The case is complemented by a sophisticated leather strap.

The clear combination dial, reminiscent of a car mask, is protected by an anti-reflective, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The model emphasises good clarity and easy handling. The dial displays the date, day of the week, alarm, stopwatch. The watch calendar is fully automatic. The watch does not lack countdown and dual time. For better readability in low light conditions, the hands and indices are luminescent and of course, there is also LED backlighting.

The watch connects to your phone via Bluetooth® and the CASIO WATCHES app, which offers automatic time synchronisation, easy setting of world times, dual time, simple management of functions and the handy Phone Finder, where pressing the watch button will sound your snooze button and make it easier to find your phone.

The advantage of the watch is solar power, where the battery is recharged by light and takes care of the long-term reliable operation of all functions.

Despite its sporty character and larger case diameter of 45.8 mm, the watch is very comfortable on the wrist. The water resistance of the model is 100 m - so you can swim with the watch without any worries.
