Men's watch Bulova Precisionist Special Grammy Edition 98B294 with its high-precision battery-powered movement will be popular especially with lovers of larger watches. This model belongs to the Grammy series, which refers to Bulova's collaboration with the famous Grammy Award, awarded annually by the National Academy of Music Arts and Sciences in the USA.
The PVD-finished steel case houses a high-performance quartz UHF (Ultra High Frequency) movement, operating at a frequency of 262 kHz. This is roughly 8 times higher than conventional quartz machines (32768 Hz). This makes it possible to achieve extreme running accuracy with a deviation of approximately 10s per year! Another interesting feature is the smooth operation of the second hand despite the fact that it is a quartz movement. At the traditional position 3 we also find a date display.
The dial is protected by a curved sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating. So you don't have to worry about scratching it and thanks to the anti-reflective layer you can rely on excellent legibility even in bright sunlight.On the hand the watch is held by a rubber strap and thanks to the water resistance of 300m almost unlimited contact with water is possible, including deep-sea diving.
This model refers to Bulova's collaboration with the famous Grammy Award, an annual music award given by the National Academy of Music Arts and Sciences in the USA for outstanding achievements in the music industry. The history of this prestigious award, which is considered the musical equivalent of the Academy Awards (Oscars), dates back to 1958. Awarded artists are presented with a golden phonograph on a black backing board at the ceremony. Bulova's partnership with the Grammys is symbolized by the Grammy logo, which is placed on the watch face.
