The Bulova Parking Meter Chronograph 98B390 watch first and foremost catches the eye with its reference to the 1970s, when the original Bulova Chronograph "Parking Meter" models saw the light of day and gained admiration and attention thanks to its easily recognizable appearance. The watch is a limited edition of 5000 pieces.
The Archive Series, which aims to commemorate the iconic Bulova models that have made history with their design and use, follows the highly successful Bulova Lunar Pilot, Devil Diver, Computron, Surfboard and Joseph Bulova sports chronograph models that became very popular in the 1970s and which, thanks to the shape of the case and the shape of the dial, was nicknamed the"Parking Meter". The original Bulova Chronograph "Parking Meter" models from 1973 with mechanical movements were the model for today's reissues, offering this classic in a new, affordable version.
The steel case of the watch, decorated with a partial blue PVD finish, is complemented by a leather strap. The model is equipped with a date display, dual time function, 24-hour time display and a stopwatch. The stopwatch can be controlled by buttons located on the top of the case next to the crown (so-called bullhead) - the left stopwatch starts and stops, the right stopwatch resets the measured values. The second time can be set on the internal rotating lunette by means of the crown, located at the bottom of the case.
The sporty style is completed by the tachymetric scale around the dial perimeter, bullhead case and orange elements. The two-tone dial, reminiscent of a parking meter, is protected by a sapphire crystal. The watch is powered by a Miyota 0S21 battery-powered movement. The 43 mm case diameter matches the model, the watch will fit most men's wrists. The water resistance of the watch is 100 m.
The limited edition numbers 5,000 pieces worldwide and comes in special packaging. Thewatches are guaranteed for 5 years.
