As important as this combat aircraft was to the pilots and the mission, the Aviator Airacobra watch offers the same reliability with a vintage look inspired by this venerable war hero. Made from premium materials, the Aviator Airacobra watch combines military precision with a classic look.
The design of the Aviator Airacobra P 45 Chrono Auto V.4.26.0.182.5, which reflects a rugged, classic look with a brushed and well-proportioned case measuring 45 millimeters in diameter, is like something cut from history. Its oversized screw-down crown offers a good grip, which is particularly advantageous when combined with authentic 1940s pilot's gloves. At the heart of the watch is the reliable Swiss mechanical movement with automatic winding ETA 7750. It is equipped with practical functions such as a stopwatch, date display, tachymeter and telemeter.
The dial, which evokes the spirit of the cockpit, is designed with a matte-grained texture that gives the watch a rather instrumental feel. Its dominant feature is the three sub-dials: two belong to the stopwatch, while the third features a moving seconds hand. Everything is protected by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment.
With a case diameter of 45 mm, the Aviator Airacobra P 45 Chrono Auto V.4.26.0.182.5 fits especially fans of larger watches. The water resistance of 10 ATM indicates that this watch is a great companion not only in the air, but also while swimming in the water.
