The Alpina Seastrong Diver Extreme Automatic Arkea Limited Edition AL-525WARK4AE6 embodies Alpina's core principles, the "4" concept, which means it meets the following characteristics: antimagnetic, shockproof, waterproof and with a stainless steel case. They are an excellent companion for sporting activities but also for everyday wear. This limited edition was produced in honour of the extreme yacht race ARKEA ULTIM CHALLENGE - Brest. Only 150 pieces were made for the whole world.

The steel case houses the AL-525 Swiss mechanical automatic movement (based on the Sellita SW200) with 26 jewels, which operates at a frequency of 28,800 semi-beats per hour and features a date display at position 6. The perfectly clear dial, which bears the logo of the ARKEA ULTIM CHALLENGE - Brest race , is protected by a sapphire crystal that is extremely scratch-resistant. The anti-reflective coating then provides perfect legibility even in the harsh sunlight. The watch face of this unique timepiece is marked with the route of the extreme race to which this limited edition is dedicated.

The AL-525WARK4AE6 comes with a practical rubber strap and thanks to the 41 mm case diameter, it fits perfectly on most men's wrists. The water resistance of this watch is 200m, so it can easily handle swimming or diving to about 20m. The water resistance is supported by a screw-down crown.

Alpina is the official timekeeper of the extreme yacht race ARKEA ULTIM CHALLENGE - Brest. This is a round-the-world yacht race that starts on January 7, 2024 and will last approximately 40-50 days. Six competitors will sail the extremely challenging route from west to east around the Cape of Good Hope, Cape Leeuwin and Cape Horn. One of the participants is Alpina brand ambassador Éric Péron, who will of course be using an Alpina Seastrong Diver Extreme Automatic Arkea Limited Edition watch for the race. Éric Péron is a professional French skipper, an experienced skipper and a participant in major yacht races with team and individual crew. He has competed on Olympic courses and has extensive experience in ocean cruising.
