Pablo Picasso was a versatile and emotional artist. His art was avant-garde, provocative and controversial for its time. That is why he is considered one of the most important and significant artists of the 20th century. His work has fascinated and inspired many artists around the world. Alexander Shorokhov is also influenced by him. In his latest watch design, which is dedicated to the legendary painter, Alexander Shorokhov touches on the issue of faces and gender. This theme was often depicted in Picasso's paintings and made him famous all over the world.

The central motif of the Tourbillon Picassini watch is the union of the two faces of a man and a woman. The woman's face is represented by curves: soft, pleasant, a little distant. The man's face occupies most of the circle: dominant, rugged, rough. The dial is thus divided into two parts. On the left side are sectors with curved lines and elements that resemble the shape of a woman. The sector between 9 and 10 o'clock is hand-engraved and resembles a diamond mine. The right side resembles a man - with straighter and sharper contours. The stars represent military decorations.

Some sectors are hand enamelled, some are covered with mother of pearl. The edges of the sectors correspond to the hour markers. This makes it easier to read the time. The round central part of the dial is surrounded by a circular ring. This shows the minutes and the alphabet in a checkerboard pattern.

The movement is a hand-wound tourbillon by the well-known manufacturer Concepto. It features a 60-hour power reserve, which makes it unnecessary to wind the watch every day. The bridges of the tourbillion have been completely hand engraved by the Manufacture's engravers and turned into a brilliant work of art. The glass case allows a glimpse of the mechanical beauty, which is housed in a square stainless steel case surrounded by 18k red gold wires. All of which makes this masterpiece even more special, creative and high quality.
