Stopwatch/chronograph adjustment

Seřízení chronografuAfter a certain period of using a stopwatch watch, it may happen that the zero position of the hand on one of the three chronograph dials changes. Simply put, the stopwatch hand does not return to 12 o'clock after pressing the bottom button. This is a completely normal feature of a chronograph watch and is not a reason for complaint. Due to the increasing number of questions, we bring you instructions for zeroing / adjusting the chronograph.

Watches with a chronograph may differ depending on the movement used in the watch, and the exact procedure for adjusting the stopwatch is always given in the instructions attached to the watch.

General adjustment procedure

  1. Pull the crown out to position 3 (furthest from the case)
  2. Press and hold the upper and lower stopwatch buttons at the same time until the large stopwatch hand circles the dial (about 2 seconds), then release both buttons - you are in repair mode.
  3. Use the upper stopwatch button to set the zero position of the large hand (ideally at 12 o'clock).
  4. After adjusting the large hand, press the bottom button once. Now you can use the upper button to set the zero position of the first smaller dial.
  5. Then press the lower button again and set the last dial with the upper button.
  6. Save by pressing the lower button and finish the whole operation by pushing the crown to position 1 (fully against the watch).
