The Luminox Atacama Adventurer 1760 Series XL.1763 watch belongs to the Land series and its robust stainless steel case. This entire series is named after the Atacama Desert in Chile, the driest place on the planet. Designed to withstand such an inhospitable environment, the watch is also executed in an urban style
The case of the Luminox Atacama Adventurer 1760 Series XL.1763 is made of stainless steel, which provides the necessary durability. Combined with a brown leather strap, the watch weighs 86 grams. Other highlights include the scratch-resistant anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The anti-reflective coating ensures legibility even in bright sunlight. The seconds hand is located at the 6 position and is replaced by a rotating disc instead of a conventional hand.
Due to the waterproofness to 200 meters, the watch can also be used for diving. The biggest advantage of the watch, however, is the tritium luminescence, which ensures readability in the dark, without any illumination, for up to 25 years.
