The Zeppelin 8680M-3 is equipped with a very interesting line of functions. At first glance, the trackers catch the eye. The central hand serves as a second hand when they are switched on. Likewise, the sub-dial at 9 o'clock serves as a stopwatch. It is presented as a combined 30-minute and 12-hour counter. The alarm clock is located at the 6 position. Among other functions, this model also offers a handy date display, telemeter, or tachymeter. The latter is used to measure speed over a distance of one kilometre. The luminescent backing of the dial is unusual. When the watch is illuminated in the dark, the entire dial glows completely, which, in addition to the aesthetic effect, guarantees excellent legibility.
