The Seiko SRPJ11K1, in monochrome, is based on the popular Seiko 5 Sports series and retains 4 of the 5 details that are typical of the series. The mechanical movement with automatic winding, water resistance, case with enhanced shock resistance and date and day of the week display in one window will be appreciated during daily wear and during sports. While the crown is not characteristically hidden at the 4 o'clock level, its flatness means it is not obstructive and comfortable to handle. The steel case with a black PVD surface finish is complemented by a black textile nato strap.
The military-style dial is protected by a hardened Hardlex mineral crystal. The water resistance of this model is 100 m - the watch can handle a shower and is not afraid of swimming. The power reserve of the watch is around 41 hours. For better legibility in low light conditions, the hands and indices are equipped with luminescence. Many owners will be pleased with the transparent caseback, through which it is possible to observe the operation of the 4R36 movement with a frequency of 21600 half-beats per hour. The diameter of the case is a pleasant 39.4 mm.
