The Swiss Oris Aviation Big Crown ProPilot Rega Fleet Limited Edition AgustaWestland Da Vinci 01 798 7773 4284 HB-ZRT-Set impresses with its attractive pilot style and excellent workmanship. This model serves excellently not only in the clouds, but also in everyday wear. This watch was inspired by the AgustaWestland Da Vinci HB-ZRT rescue helicopter and was produced in a limited edition of 100 pieces.
The case of the Oris Aviation Big Crown ProPilot Rega Fleet Limited Edition AgustaWestland Da Vinci 0179877734284HB-ZRT-Set is made of stainless steel with PVD finish and is completed with a leather strap (an extra rubber strap is also included). Inside its interior, the Oris 798 Swiss mechanical movement (based on the Sellita SW330-1) with automatic winding works reliably. This movement has 25 stone fits inside and operates at a frequency of 28,800 semi-frequencies per hour (4 Hz). Travellers in particular will benefit from the GMT function, i.e. the display of a second time zone in the form of a fourth hand in 24-hour format. At position 3 is a handy date display. There is also a rotating lunette with a heart rate monitor, which illustrates the connection of this model with the medical environment.
The perfectly clear dial is protected by an arched sapphire crystal that is maximally scratch-resistant. Legibility in sharp light is ensured by an internal anti-reflective coating. In darkness and low light conditions, the luminescence of Superluminova on the hands and indexes is useful. The water resistance of this watch is 100 m ( 10 ATM), so it can handle contact with water, such as swimming. The water resistance is supported by a screw-down crown.
This model was created in honour of Oris' collaboration with the Swiss Air-Rescue Rega medical service, which has been ongoing since 2016. The Swiss Air-Rescue Rega institution has been operating for 7 decades and provides emergency medical assistance in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Its founder, Dr. Rudolf Bucher, actually believed that the Swiss emergency services needed a specialized air section.
AgustaWestland developed the Da Vinci helicopter to Rega's strict, clearly defined specifications. The rescue helicopter is used at all Rega mountain bases. It optimally meets the high demands for flight performance, medical equipment and maintenance.

The Oris brand was founded in 1904 by Paul Cattin and Georges Christian in the Swiss town of Hölstein, where he is based today. The brand gradually grew to one of the largest employers in the region and in 1925 introduced its first wristwatch.
