Hodinky Luminox 3258 SEA spadají do kolekce Navy SEAL Stell 3250 Series, která vznikla díky spolupráci Luminoxu a amerických jednotek Navy Seals. Hodinky jsou povážovány za jedny z nejodolnější v aktuální kolekci.
Pouzdro modelu Luminox 3258 je vyrobeno z oceli, čímž je zajištěna vysoká odolnost vůči nárazům a mechanickému poškození. Vzhledem k vodotěsnosti do 200 metrů je možné hodinky využít i k hlubinnému potápění. K těmto účelům se bezpochyby bude hodit i jednosměrně otočná luneta s tritiovým bodem. Praktické využití obstarává ukazatel data, umístěný na tradiční třetí pozici. Ciferník je chráněn nepoškrabatelným safírovým sklem s antireflexní vrstvou. Největší předností hodinek je ovšem tritiová luminiscence, která zajistí čitelnost hodinek ve tmě, bez jakéhokoliv nasvěcování, až na 25 let.
