It is made to commemorate the 35th anniversary of Junghans ' first radio-controlled watch, the Mega 1, which was also the world's first radio-controlled watch !

The Junghans Mega 1000 Limited Edition 26/2801.25 is equipped with the in-house movement J604.64 with multi-frequency radio signal reception function. The movement can receive signals from 4 radio receivers in the world in Europe, North America and Japan (2 transmitters). Moreover, Junghans is one of the pioneers in the production of solar and radio controlled watches. It boasts the distinction of having produced the world's first radio-controlled wristwatch in 1990!

Thanks to radio control, the Junghans Mega 1000 model also offers an automatic calendar or automatic daylight saving time change (when a radio signal is successfully received).
