Certina DS Podium Big Size Chronograph C001.647.27.057.00 watches win their owners especially with their beautiful sporty look and precise workmanship.
The Certina C001.647.27.057.00, which belongs to the DS Podium model series, features a date display, tachymeter and stopwatch that measures to 1/100th of a second. The detailed dial is protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, which is resistant to any scratches and thanks to the anti-reflective layer, the dial can be read even in bright sunlight. The watch case is made of stainless steel, which is blackened by PVD treatment. An interesting feature is the two central hands. The normal one, moving in the range of 0-60 seconds and then the second one, highlighted in red, which indicates the accuracy of 1/100th of a second. The water resistance of this model is 20 ATM, making it suitable even for deep-sea diving.
The Swiss ETA 251.264 CEN Precidrive movement guarantees accuracy with a maximum annual deviation of 10 seconds! This movement is also equipped with a low battery indicator (EOL).
Like all Certina watches, it is equipped with the unique DS technology (Double Security system), which increases the durability, shock resistance and water resistance reliability of the watch (1. reinforced sapphire crystal, 2. seal on the crown shaft, 3. double seal on the crown, 4. special back cap seal, 5. reinforced back cap).

“Mám několik hodinek. Certina, Tag Heuer, Longines, společenské i sportovní. S kovovým i koženým páskem. Chtěl jsem něco levnějšího, na co si nebudu muset dávat pozor při sportu, práci atd. Objednaný typ Certina byla trefa do černého, přestože jsem riskoval zajíce v pytli, přece jen, vybírat hodinky na netu, nedoporučuji. Měl jsem obavy, že silikonový či pryžový pásek, bude na dotyk nepříjemný, ruka se potit atd. Opak je pravdou. Vynikající, příjemný vjem na kůži, sedí na ruce podstatně lépe, než kovový. Viditelnost a přehlednost středně velkého ciferníků je skvělá, trošku bylo překvapení, že číslice 9,12 a 3 nejsou bílé jako rafička, ale stříbrné a v podstatě viditelné jen pod určitým úhlem. V tomto fotografie na netu mate, realita je však dobře vidět na videu. Dobrá koupě, doporučuji.”
