The Certina DS Podium Big Size Chronograph C001.647.16.037.00 is an absolute bestseller. It wins its owners especially with its beautiful sporty look and precise workmanship.
The Certina C001.647.16.037.00 watch, which belongs to the DS Podium model series, features a date display, tachymeter and stopwatch that measures with an accuracy of 1/100th of a second. The detailed dial is protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, which is resistant to any scratches and thanks to the anti-reflective layer, the dial is legible even in bright sunlight. The watch case is made of stainless steel and elegantly crafted leather strap. An interesting feature is the two central hands. The normal one, ranging from 0-60 seconds, and then the second one, highlighted in red, which shows the accuracy of 1/100th of a second. The water resistance of this model is 20 ATM, making it suitable even for deep-sea diving.
The Swiss ETA 251.264 CEN Precidrive movement guarantees accuracy with a maximum annual deviation of 10 seconds! This movement is also equipped with a low battery indicator (EOL).
Like all Certina watches, it is equipped with the unique DS technology (Double Security system), which increases the durability, shock resistance and water resistance reliability of the watch (1. reinforced sapphire crystal, 2. seal on the crown shaft, 3. double seal on the crown, 4. special back cap seal, 5. reinforced back cap).
