The Certina DS-8 C033.428.11.041.00 is a new watch for 2022 and wins its owners over with its simple retro design, clear appearance and precise workmanship.
Part of the DS-8 model series, the Certina DS-8 C033.428.11.041.00 features a date display at 6 o'clock. The detailed dial is protected by a sapphire crystal, resistant to any scratches. The watch case is made of stainless steel and so is the bracelet. At six o'clock we find a small second hand.
The watch is powered by a Swiss mechanical movement with automatic winding ETA 2825-2, which has 25 stone settings and a power reserve of up to 42 hours. The movement operates at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 semi-frequencies per hour), has a hacking function and a manual winding option.
Like all Certina watches, it is equipped with the unique DS technology (Double Security System), which increases the durability, shock resistance and water resistance reliability of the watch (1. reinforced sapphire crystal, 2. seal on the crown shaft, 3. double seal on the crown, 4. special back cap seal, 5. reinforced back cap).
